Naia is a young mermaid who loves dancing and life beneath the sea. One day, while swimming near the surface, she sees a young Prince fall from his ship and saves him from drowning. The Prince never discovers who rescued him, but Naia cannot forget him.
Dreaming of seeing him again, Naia asks the powerful Sea Witch to give her human legs. The witch agrees, but there is a price: Naia must give up her beautiful voice and accept a dangerous spell that may prevent her from ever returning to the sea.
At the palace, Naia and the Prince become close friends, but without her voice she cannot tell him that she was the mysterious girl who saved his life. When the story takes an unexpected turn, Naia must decide what matters more - getting what she wants or protecting someone she truly cares about.
The Mermaid Story is a family stage show about kindness, courage, friendship and making a selfless choice for someone you love.
